I have always been fascinted with movie stunt knives and daggers. And here is the holiest of them all... a jumbo sized, demon slaying dagger hidden inside a crucifix! I went through a half dozen or so concepts before we landed on the pius slasher, AKA The Dumah. After dialing in the final looks and creating working drawings, the prop house went to work. When they sent the intiial photos I was blown away. It looked exactly as I hoped. They made us 3 blades. One that was solid metal, one that was cast in rubber and one with a spring loaded blade that tucked into the handle. I also designed the altar it sits on and the accompanying ancient book of exorcism.
